Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, candidate must be able to prove their competence via assessments at their workplace to successfully gain the qualification.
Who are the qualifications for?
Trades person who are undertaking more of the Mentoring and Supervising works within their occupation. The candidate must have a level of autonomy and have responsibility for organising other staff in day to day site activities (this will need to be observed). This sheets sets out the units and the candidate requirements that are needed in order to complete the assessment requirements of the NVQ.
Possible Progression Routes for Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision
Candidates achieving a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision can progress further into technical, supervisory and management qualifications and positions within their own organisations.
To achieve the full qualification you need to complete a total of 5 mandatory units and 2 optional units.
To achieve this qualification a minimum of 67 credits need to be attained. This comprises the 5 mandatory units plus units from the following 2 optional unit group(s).

Course Delivery
The course is delivered via Onsite Assessments and Training (OSAT) Route. Assessments take place at candidate's workplace by a Competent and Qualified Assessor. Candidate needs to prove their competence in the chosen units to be able to achieve the qualification.
Fees
Course Fees: £3345
Note: Fee charges are applicable to the provision of the complete qualification delivery and include all assessments, support, course materials, registration, certification and any underpinning job knowledge training as may be required and are the services provided by Academy Training Group Limited for said fees. They do not relate to the individual or collective number of units completed in the achievement of the qualification. Fees are payable in full by the learner regardless of whether they complete the course/qualification or not.

L3 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations (Construction) - Site Carpentry Course Information

All Carpenters who have accumulated the requisite amount of experience and skill to satisfy the standards of the qualification and who may now be undertaking more complicated or complex works. The candidate will have a level of autonomy and have responsibility for organising other staff in day to day site activities (this will need to be observed). This sheets sets out the units and the candidate requirements that are needed in order to complete the assessment requirements of the NVQ.
Possible Progression Routes for Level 3 Site Carpentry
Candidates achieving a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Site Carpentry can progress further into higher supervision roles such as a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Technical), or other supervisory and management qualifications in Construction.
To achieve the full qualification you need to complete a total of 7 mandatory units and 2 optional units. .
